Branding created for Helly Hansen's NJORD collection.

This project was part of a series of logos created for different apparel collections for Helly Hansen, based on the ideas of nordic gods and the nordic heritage of the brand. The idea behind the collection was to create contemporary, stylish and highly functional rainwear, midlayers and accessories, targeting outdoor all-weather sports such as fishing and hiking. The brief was to create branding that would reflect these ideas of protection from the elements, as well as the name NJORD being the traditional norse god of the sea and fishing. The logo combines the basic shapes of nordic helmet, anchor, wooden boat and the northern compass symbol to bring these themes together.

Helly Hansen is an international sports brand originating from Norway, with a focus on highly functional sports apparel for the outdoor, sailing and active markets.
