For it's first ever sponsorship of the esteemed Cox Plate horse race, Ladbrokes teamed up with outdoor advertising specialists GOA for a very special signage installation. I was tasked with designing the signage and digital billboards for this project. This involved creating a 60 metre long horse racing graphic that would be displayed on a fence, as well as a variety of digital billboards that featured at the "finish line" communicating interesting facts about the Ladbrokes Cox Plate. The special part of this installation were the selected horses that were printed separately on moving machinery, giving the feeling of a living horse race. This involved preparing separate artwork for each of these moving horses, which were around 1.5 meters high and 2 meters long. The scale and complication of this installation was a challenge but the end result was a great success for the brand.
